1.Christ is the Head of the Church - Matt 16:15-19, Eph. 2:19-22
2. Christ's church is entrusted to men. But that doesn't mean we can sit back and observe church life. All must be involved in building church.
How will it make a difference in my life as I have this perspective?
- We will be more patient with leaders when they make mistakes or can't reach around.
- We will not always have to have our way, when decisions are made.
3. Christ's church is to be one. One with Christ and one with each other.
John 17:20-23
How will it make a difference in my life as I have this perspective?
- We will be more ready to listen and much more slow to push my own opinion.
- It will hurt when we see division in the church, and will try to bring restoration and restitution.
4. Christ's church is to be without competition.
-"The true test of being a servant is when you are treated like one!"
How will it make a difference in my life as I have this perspective?
-Where is there the most conflict? With my ungodly neighbor or with the neighbor who is from a different church group.
- I will refuse to compare myself with others at church.
5. Christ's church is His Bride.
Eph. 5:25-26
How will it make a difference in my life as I have this perspective?
- Our focus will change from "what is wrong with it?" to "How closely am I imitating Christ?"
6. Christ's church will be victorious.
Matt. 16:18

-Will give us confidence for the future, fearing God, not the world.
