What does Jesus have to say about helping people?
But whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: and whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:43-45
“Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
If we wait to help other people with their problems till we fix all our own we will never help anyone.
Helping others is at the core of Christ's message and we will sow what we reap.
Don't wait till its convenient to help others, it never will be.
Who should we help? If we see things from Jesus' eternal perspective we will want to help and change the lives of as many people as possible.
Helping people with physical needs are opportunities to help with spiritual needs.
