A.Matthew 10:28 God holds power over the soul and spirit of man that no one else does

III.Why is it so hard to live in the fear of God?
A. The Lord is often very quiet
B. God is longsuffering and gracious
C. Depends on faith in God
D. We like the fear of the fear of the Lord that is taught by the precept of man because it is easy to gauge fear
IV. How can we grow in the fear of God?
A. We need to understand who God is
B. We need to understand who we are
C. Ponder the concept of salvation
The fear of the Lord is the key ingredient in gaining wisdom and fleeing from evil
